Thank God it’s Fri-YAY. There is not another day of the week that gives me the feels quite like Friday does. Before the weekend approaches, I wanted to share my mini haul of a few beauty products I picked up recently that you can find at your local drugstore.
1.) Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Birthday Suit– I love the Miracle Gel line. I either wear black polish, or nude polish, and there’s really not a whole lot of variation for me. I also own the color Blacky-O, and although I wouldn’t say it lasts for the full two weeks on me, it certainly does last a lot longer than regular polish usually does and legitimately looks like a gel manicure from the salon.
2.) Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo– Have you seen this gem floating around the Internet?
This is my hair, ALL OF THE TIME. I live on dry shampoo, so I’m always buying/trying new kinds. I’m impressed with this one, it really does go on clear (no powdery residue) which is awesome because when I have darker roots like I do now, the powdery white residue never looks good. Plus this one happens to also smell so good!
3.) L’oreal Voluminous Mascara– I’ve tried this mascara before and liked it a lot (it’s a supposed Lauren Conrad fave, I read that in a magazine once!), but I think I stopped using it because my lashes got used to it and I like to switch up my mascara game. I was looking for a more cost friendly dupe for my Dior Iconic Overcurl Mascara, and the curved wand had me sold on this L’Oreal one. Although it doesn’t quite compare to Dior, it still is a good buy for under $10 and the closest you will probably get in terms of a drugstore brand!
4.) L’Oreal Le Gloss in Nude Touch– I love the Le Gloss line. It is very comparable to many department store brand glosses I’ve tried. I love the texture, scent, color selection, and beautiful glossy finish! This color is gorgeous as well if you’re in the market for a simple nude gloss, the clear one is also amazing.
So there you have it. Also included is my October issue of People Style Watch and coffee, because they’ll always be my faves!
