How to Wear a Blanket Scarf

How to wear blanket scarf

It’s no surprise to say blanket scarves are my fall outfit staple. I love the blanket scarf! Not only does it keep me nice and warm, it pulls any outfit together with the perfect amount of fall flair. I’ve found a couple different ways to wear my scarves which I wanted to share with you all today!

First, there is the classic look.

To get this look, I simply fold the blanket scarf in half to make a triangle. I put the big pointed end in the front and take the two ends and tie them under the big point!

Next, is the belted blanket scarf.

This is one of my favorite ways to wear my scarf. To get this look you again fold the scarf in half to make a triangle. I put the big point in the back so the two ends are draped over my shoulders, and I put a belt around my waist to hold it together! This keeps me so nice and warm.

Lastly, I’ve recently started to add a brooch to my blanket scarf to give it a little something extra!

This is a vintage brooch and I love the way it gives my scarf some extra sparkle. I tied my scarf like normal, and just added the pin to the side.

I love how versatile the scarf is. Besides the many prints available, there are so many ways to wear this piece. The classic tartan print will always be my favorite though!

Have a wonderful Wednesday and a Happy Thanksgiving beauties! I’m so thankful for each and every one of my readers and followers, you keep me going and are the reason I love to blog and share my style with you.
