BLONDE SIDE’S BACK, ALRIGHT! Ok ok, excuse my cheesy boy band references, but I’ve missed you all so much over the past two weeks! I figured since I have been traveling, what would be more appropriate than a travel must haves edition of my favorites?! So let’s kick off 2016 with a fresh round of my Monday Faves, shall we?
The day after Christmas, I braved the mall to go to Sephora. Hey, I had gift cards to spend and I really wanted to get my hands on the Aqua Bomb moisturizer I’d been hearing rave reviews about. Let me tell you, this is the Holy Grail of all facial moisturizers, and my skin has never felt better. With my VIB points, I scored a sample of their moisturizing cream which is just as bomb. Pun intended. I also picked up this TSA friendly bag for all my liquids because how perfect is it? I couldn’t resist.
Now onto all my other must haves I packed…
Morrocan Oil Travel Essentials: Volume Edition – Morrocan Oil is absolutely all it’s cracked up to be. The shampoo and conditioner are my favorite, I love the oil, and the deep conditioner was a lifesaver when my hair was friend from the sand, sea, and the sun. It all comes in this cute pouch, and I didn’t have to worry about any other hair products.
Bloke Body Island Coconut Body Scrub- I’ve raved about the Bloke scrubs here and here before. The Island Coconut was a Limited Edition but they’re bringing it back soon. Either way their scrubs are amazing and this kept my skin in tip top shape all vacay!
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue– I didn’t want to bring foundation on my trip because who wants a heavy face in 90 degree weather? The Complexion Rescue is lightweight, has nice coverage, and has SPF. What more could you want?
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer– Obsessed with this both on and off vacation. I also have the rest of my family hooked- that’s how good it is.
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray– I got this as a Christmas gift, because it’s a bit pricy, but this spray works wonders! That same 90 degree heat usually makes my makeup melt off, but not with this stuff.
Tarteguard– Facial sunscreen is the one thing I never skimp on while on vacation. I heard tons of great reviews about the Tarteguard lotion before and I know why. It is so light on your face, and it doesn’t give you the awful “I’m wearing sunscreen on my face” feeling. Go Tarte!
Also…I know this is my travel must have edition of my favorites, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my most favorite thing about Mondays now…drumroll please…
This season of the Batch is going to be a good one. Ben makes me swoon, look at that smile! Nothing makes me happier than knowing Bachelor Mondays are back in full swing. Speaking of which, make sure to follow me on Twitter (@blondesidestyle) where you can follow my live tweets about the show!
Thanks for reading y’all. Happy 2016- it’s good to be back! Vacation recap coming soon for you.
