DVF 2016 Spring Collection Preview Part 2

One of the coolest things I learned about this collection was that it was inspired by Fortuna, the Roman goddess of luck, justice and liberty. Fortuna also happens to be the subject of one of the first paintings Diane Von Furstenberg ever bought for herself! A lot of pieces were also inspired by a recent trip Diane took to India. You can see both of these inspirations in the rich colors and flowy texture of these pieces.

Plunging necklines are one of the biggest trends of the moment. I mean, did you see Charlize Theron’s Oscar dress?! The thing I loved the most about this dress besides the beautiful print, was being able to wear this gorgeous gold necklace tucked in the front, but also having the option to drape it down the dress’s open back.

Another huge trend this spring is lucite heels. They have been popping up everywhere, and I love them. So you can only imagine my excitement when I got to try these beauties on.

From the colors of the straps, to the textured heel and the pop of gold, these are honestly the perfect shoe for spring. I also have a thing for these gorgeous clutches!

One of my favorite style pairings is to take a feminine piece, and wear it with something a little edgier. That’s why I loved putting this dainty sundress together with this awesome leather bomber, and fringe bag. Oh, and I can’t forget the gold lace up espadrilles which were to die for, and so comfortable!

I felt so cool in this outfit, it was just my style. The sundress caught my eye from the get go, and pairing it with the jacket and accessories make it effortlessly chic!
