Happy Monday to all my lovely readers! I’m sorry if I’ve been massively MIA lately in posting and catching up with all of your sweet comments on here and IG. This girl has had her nose to the grindstone with school. This past weekend I completed my capstone presentation, and in 9 days I will have my Master’s Degree in hand. I couldn’t be more excited for that!! In the meantime, I wanted to share some of my favorite face products I’ve been incorporating into my everyday makeup routine.
Last week, I came home to find this L’Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur in my mom’s bathroom cabinet. Being the nosy daughter I am, I had to try it. It was love at first use (momma loves it too). I try to use a little bit since I’ve been attempting to not use a lot of primer type creams, but this stuff is nice. I don’t feel like it’s clogging my pores and it has SPF in it. I’m all about that sun protection with summer right around the corner.
I don’t know what it is, but I really have a thing for blush lately. I realized I have accumulated a lot of it in recent months but wanted to try this Lorac Color Source Buildable Blush at a sweet Insta blogger friend’s recommendation. This is the shade Spectra, and it’s a nice, natural matte pink. I am really digging the buildable formula and it goes on nice and smooth to give the perfect amount of flush!
I have mentioned the Complexion Rescue in another foundation post, but it’s so good I had to talk about it twice. I also started using the Bare Minerals bareSkin serum concealer, and let me tell you, I’m in love with the combination of these two products. Bare Minerals has really knocked it out of the park in terms of their liquid foundations and concealers. I wear the Natural (05) in the Complexion Rescue, and I love the Light concealer.
Speaking of my makeup faves, I have a full review of these beauties coming later this week so stay tuned.
To tide you over in the meantime, you can read my review of the Kylie Cosmetics gloss here!
Thanks for reading and always sticking with me, and I will be back in full force as soon as I finish my last few exams and papers.
