We all know I’m the biggest Bachelor fanatic in the entire world. So when I say last night’s episode almost put me to sleep, you know it must’ve been pretty uneventful. I’m not saying I miss Chad, I’m just saying the start of the season was way more interesting with him still on it. The downward spiral of tonight’s ep started with the announcement of Wells’ one on one…
Between getting Spanish lessons from these guys every 2 seconds, and listening to them overanalyze the fact Wells hadn’t kissed JoJo yet, I already felt like the 2 hours of episode time was up.
Because in Bachelor world, it’s abnormal if you don’t kiss someone within 1 hour of knowing them. Duh.
Wells did in fact kiss JoJo, after a completely acceptable time of waiting to do so I might add, and then unfortunately got the boot. Poor guy. We can definitely figure the guys in the house proceeded to spend the rest of the night gossiping about that. They’re the worst.
Speaking of the worst. That’s what I feel about James Taylor. I’m sorry, he seems like a fan favorite, but I just cannot stand him. Especially when he tried to throw
bae Jordan under the bus. When will these guys EVER learn talking about someone else doesn’t make you look any better? It has never worked in anyone’s favor.
JoJo’s face says it all. Don’t mess with my man, JT.
So JoJo of course confronts Jordan, and all seems right in the world again.
That’s the face I make when I think about James Taylor too, Jordan.
Side note. We all know how every season seems to have a dominant fashion trend, and the trend this season is the collarless leather jacket.
C’mon, even JoJo is rocking it!
Then we move on to the most awkward two on one date of all time, where it apparently take 3 to tango…
…and the 3rd person was just one too many. Did anyone else feel super uncomfortable watching this one unfold? I know I did.
Just when I thought I couldn’t actually feel more weird about this date, JoJo let Derek go. That wasn’t the worst part though, because what followed was the strangest montage of all time featuring Derek’s tears, an opera version of “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” and JoJo aggressively making out with Chase. I just had to look up his name because I honestly didn’t remember, in case anyone knows how I feel about him.
I was sad to see Derek go…until he referred to himself in the 3rd person. No, just no.
Honestly, the only redeeming thing about this entire episode was JoJo’s rose ceremony look.
I need her dress, I need her eyelashes, I need her bronzer and highlighter, and her curing iron. Actually can I just be JoJo? #goals
Just when I thought this episode was just going to end and be put out of its own misery, JoJo left before handing out the final rose to either James Taylor or Alex. But never fear, because for the first time ever, Chris Harrison came back with two roses!
I guess they figured if Ben could tell 2 girls he loved them, JoJo could have 2 roses.
Quite frankly, I wish neither Alex or James Taylor had gotten a rose, but that’s just me. Personal feelings about the 2 aside, I don’t think either of them is a good fit for her.
This is definitely one of the stranger seasons I’ve seen. Does anyone else have the same feelings after watching last night?
