Blonde Side Holiday Beauty Buys

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…for beauty purchases, that is! Besides Holiday gifts and sets, I feel that the holidays are also a time to ask nicely for those beauty purchases you have been coveting but haven’t taken the plunge on yet. Today I’m going to break down some of my favorites in each category for you to add to your wish list. Forewarning that this post is a little lengthy, but I’m really divulging my thoughts on a lot of great products for you today over a bunch of different categories!

Face:

Beauty Blender with Mini Solid- $25

This was my favorite makeup deal last December, hands down. I still have this same BB and it’s in perfect shape. If you don’t have this makeup sponge, you need it. I would never go back from this. You also need the solid. I learned my lesson with my first BB, I didn’t buy the solid, and it was torn to pieces in about 4 months. I still own my same BB from almost 365 days ago from using the solid, that’s because it works. That’s why this one is a great deal to try it out and see for yourself!

Urban Decay Makeup Lockdown Travel Duo- $19

The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray is yet another product I swear by. After my face makeup is done, I spritz 2 pumps on my BB to set my makeup and it doesn’t budge. This duo is great if you want to try this product out. It also comes with the Eyeshadow Primer Potion which is in my top 3 eyeshadow primers. This is definitely a great deal for those who suffer from makeup meltdowns.

Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops- $42

I tested these in the shade Celestial in Sephora yesterday and HOLY MOLY, the spot where I used them on my hand was glistening for hours. Even after wiping them off and washing my hands/face, etc, there was still some shimmer there this morning. I want these for my beauty arsenal ASAP. They also come in 3 other highlight shades, and 2 bronzing shades. You can add these to any cosmetic or skincare product some some extra glimmer. Definitely will be adding these to my wishlist.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits Mineral Blush Duo- $38

I am a huge fan of the Champagne Pop highlighter by Becca and Jaclyn Hill. These split compacts with the Champagne Pop and a blush are newer to the Champagne Pop collection, and they are gorgeous. I admire them every time I’m in Sephora. My personal favorite shade is with the blush Flowerchild. If you haven’t tried Champagne Pop, it is a must in any beauty addict’s collection.

Anastasia Glow Kit- $45

Screen Shot 2016-12-03 at 10.26.42 AM.png

I am all about the glowing skin lately in case you couldn’t tell from my above mentioned beauty choices of the Skin Enhancing Drops, and Champagne Pop. This is one of two Anastasia palettes I’m loving at the moment (I’ll mention the other momentarily). Just look at it, it’s gorgeous, and these shades are very universally flattering!

Lips:

Kylie Cosmetics Holiday Lip Kits- $30 each

I told myself I wasn’t going to do it, but I did it anyway. I caved and bought one of Kylie’s Holiday mattes because they were too gorgeous to resist. I ordered the shade “Merry” but I also really love “Vixen.” Kylie Kits make the perfect gift. If you’re looking for the regular shades, my favorites are Love Bite, Koko K, Mary Jo K and Posie K. You can find reviews and swatches of those here and here.

Buxom White Russian Holiday Kiss Collection- $20

I love the Buxom glosses, and this packaging is to die for. Plus, it’s in my favorite Buxom Shade, White Russian. It’s the perfect pinky nude. It offers just the right amount of minty-cool plumping and it’s so shiny and smells soooo good. You cannot pass up the Holiday offer on this one. I also love the Buxom Lightweight Liquid Lipstick in Devious Dolly.

Eyes:

Lorac Eyeshadow Palettes in Black Tie Attire and Tails and Top Hats– NOW $12 each

These Lorac mini palettes that Ulta comes out with every Black Friday are everything. They are cute, compact and are perfect for travel or stashing in your purse. I bought these for $18 each on Black Friday, and now they are dropped down to $12 a piece. You literally cannot beat this deal. I love the shadows and the formulations of these shadows. You will not be disappointed with either palette. I suggest Black Tie Attire if you’re looking for a more sheer, natural look, and Tails and Top Hats if you’re looking for a more dramatic, smoky look.

Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette- $42

I am seriously googly eyed for this palette. Hint hint for anyone looking to make this girl super happy this Christmas 😉 But seriously, burgundy tones for shadows are the biggest beauty trend right now in my opinion. See also Kylie’s Burgundy PaletteAnyone would be lucky to receive this beauty under the tree!

Sephora Lashstash to Go Kits ($25.00 option, $28.00 option)

I don’t want to pick out particular mascara favorites, because each person’s mascara preference is different. That’s why I love these mascara holiday kit options each year. They make the perfect gift, because you can try 5 mini mascaras, and then there’s a voucher to bring back to Sephora to get your favorite full size one for free. My personal favorites from these 2 kits are the Tarte Lights, Camera Lashes (this might actually be my #1 mascara pick overall), and the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.

Skincare:

Sunday Riley U.F.O Ultra Clarifying Face Oil- $80

Screen Shot 2016-12-03 at 10.37.13 AM.png

I am SO excited to try this product. I did order it as a gift because my mom bought me some beauty essentials for Christmas already. First of all, I love facial oils as my main form of cleansing. Second, this is supposed to be a great cleanser for acne prone skin as it contains salicylic acid. This is obviously a little on the expensive side, but I’ve learned when it comes to your skin, you cannot skimp on skincare. I can’t wait to fully divulge my thoughts on this one after Christmas!

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup 3 in 1 Melting Cleaning Balm- $38

screen-shot-2016-12-03-at-10-41-16-am

If I told you all you absolutely needed one product in your nightly skincare regime, it would be this one right here. It is BOMB y’all. It starts as a waxy balm, and when you rub it on your hands or face, it turns into an oil and literally gets all of your makeup off. I think people worry it’s going to make their skin feel oily, but trust me, you can leave it on for up to a minute for super soft cleansed skin. This little tub has also lasted me forever. It’s worth the $38 and I love having just one product to get all my makeup off.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Minis- $20

Screen Shot 2016-12-03 at 10.45.52 AM.png

I’ve heard such great things about this moisturizer. I suffer from the driest, flakiest skin in the winter…thank you, New York! This set offers two mini Ultra Repair Creams (one comes in their new Vanilla Citron scent which smells AMAZING ps) and it’s only $20. I picked this one up at Sephora the other day and I can’t wait to start using them.

Hair:

Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo Duo- $30

Screen Shot 2016-12-03 at 10.49.21 AM.png

I don’t know how or why I was so late to the Dry Bar train everyone. I heard very mixed reviews about this dry shampoo which is why I never bought it to try. I received a free travel sized sample of the Detox and WOW I’m so mad I listened to some of the so so reviews. This is totally my new favorite. It makes my hair look so refreshed and it smells amazing. For $30 and two full sizes cans, you can’t beat this. I am also loving their Sea Salt Spritzer, Shine Cream and Volumizing Mousse if you need some more suggestions on great hair products for the holidays.

Fragrance:

Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Gift Set- $80

Screen Shot 2016-12-03 at 11.03.48 AM.png

I’m not a huge fragrance fan. I am very sensitive to most smells, and I like my perfumes to smell like a second skin. Does that make sense?! I like very light, clean scents. I received a sample of this Elizabeth and James fragrance in the summer and instantly fell in love. I finally caved and ordered it for Christmas because I can’t get enough when I smell this one. In the interim I’ve had the Nirvana White dry shampoo, which is also is just so good.

Gucci Flora- $62

Screen Shot 2016-12-03 at 11.09.22 AM.png

Again, not a huge fragrance fan, but this one has also caught my eye. It’s so feminine, light and delicate. Nirvana White is definitely my first choice, but this is a very close second if you’re looking for a soft, floral fragrance.

That about rounds out the list! There are just so many good products out there for the holidays. Make sure to add these to your list! Are there any I haven’t put that you’re wishing for this Christmas?

P.s. to all my Sephora VIB members, they have a great Glam Glow set for 500 points right now which you might’ve seen on my Insta, so I highly suggest getting your hands on it before it’s gone!
