Weekend Recap + Monday Favorites

Under normal circumstances, I might gripe about the Monday blues over here. Luckily after a great weekend and the fact that today starts Bachelorette Monday again, I’m feeling pretty good. More on my awesome weekend later in this post. Let’s start with some favorites.

I posted about this Blush and Bar Blush Druzy Pendant in my Mother’s Day gift guide.

I don’t know if I was late to the druzy train or what, but I’m really loving druzy jewelry these days. Bonus with shopping from Blush and Bar is that you can get 15% off their pieces with code ‘Nina15.’ Some of my other favorite pieces from their site include the Lindley Lariat Necklace, Kelsi Geo Bracelet and Jacqueline Statement necklace.

I’m also obsessing over anything pineapple print. This Tipsy Elves Pina Colada romper is an amazing summer piece, as a romper on its own, or a cover up for a swimsuit, it is super versatile. Tipsy Elves also has the cutest summer clothes, perfect for 4th of July, country concerts or other fun summer activities.

My pineapple print door mat also brightens up my apartment so much, and so do my new Rose gold string lights that I found at Marshalls…quite literally. I linked some similar ones for you all here.

Speaking of my apartment, I’ve been hard at work trying to make it cuter on the inside. Between collecting Rae Dunn, picking lilacs (one of my favorite flowers) and finding the infamous pie sign, I’m happy with the way it’s coming along.

I’m also obsessed with this embroidered bell sleeve number (that goes perfectly with my favorite summer wedges, which I now have in black) and my new little Rebecca Minkoff keychain.

Seriously, how adorable is it?!

This was a Nordstrom Rack find, but I’ve linked another adorable Minkoff keychain for you.

I am also LOVING these Milk Makeup lip/cheek sticks and matte bronzer sticks. I’ve been switching my summer makeup to cream based products to avoid makeup meltdowns and my face looking like an oil slick. I got the lip/cheek color in Rally and the matte bronzer in Baked.

Lastly, for favorites I wanted to share this adorable striped top, which is on major sale in the short sleeved version, and my favorite new Starbucks drink which is the iced cinnamon almond milk machiatto. Also click to find my fave new plumping gloss, as well as my beaded tassel earrings (also on sale for under $10).

As for my weekend recap, my Blonde Side Beau surprised me with a spontaneous trip to Toronto, one of my favorite cities. We got a deal on the Fairmont Royal York Hotel which was gorgeous, where we got to brunch bedside and sip on champagne.

Let me tell you, this little getaway was much needed. We went to sightsee at one of my favorite places, Casa Loma.

Minus the rain, this was the perfect day trip ensemble. I’ve linked a similar top, my necklace and my lace up sandals for you all.

We also went to the Eaton Centre where my heart was aflutter being that Toronto is one of the biggest fashion capitals. I was so excited for the giant Nordstrom, where unfortunately I walked out empty handed, but my bf didn’t. What is wrong with that picture?

Mostly because I made the mistake of trying on the Gucci Soho Disco bag which I’ve been after since I saw it on Hilary Duff in 2014. Can you tell I’m obsessed much?

Between the buttery leather, tassel detailing, iconic logo and adorable and roomy crossbody design, I’m even more in love with this bag than I thought I ever would be.

I’ve always been obsessed with handbags. I knew all about Louis Vuitton by 7th grade. Rest assured knowing that multi color speedy was everything to me back in the day (thank you Jessica Simpson!). I’m really considering making this my first big bag purchase, only because I’m literally in LOVE with this bag, and sometimes you owe it to yourself, right?

Well that’s about all for my favorites. I’ll be dreaming of Gucci and waiting in excitement for the new season of the Bachelorette tonight. Who else is going to be watching?
